Matthew 11:28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

Jesus promises us “real rest” as we “keep company” with him daily. This intentional time with Jesus has historically been known as “spiritual disciplines” or “means of grace”. We call them Grace Habits.

Grace Habits are spiritual practices that become a pathway for us to encounter the healing, peaceful, loving presence of God. As we practice these ancient habits, we are transformed by God’s grace, becoming a little more and more like Jesus. Since we are creatures of habit, it takes time and discipline to form these practices into our daily and weekly rhythms. This journal is a way for you to incorporate these habits into your life.
