Plan Your Visit

When you visit Sandy Hook United Methodist Church, we will be anxiously waiting to welcome you! The only thing we love as much as we love Jesus is sharing His love with others! We are looking forward to getting to know you!

Sunday School

Sandy Hook offers numerous Sunday School classes (all meet at 10 a.m. Sunday) with studies that meet you wherever you might be on your personal journey. Find your place below.

Sunday Transformation – (3 years through 5th grade)

Our Sunday Transformation for children follows the Trackers of Truth curriculum so that the whole family is on the same scriptural page each week. Children learn the Bible lesson in an age appropriate interactive way and take home family discussion guides that help reinforce the lesson at home through the week.

Submerge Youth Ministry

Submerge is the youth ministry of Sandy Hook. Submerge is a time of fun, worship, and a relevant message that applies to the life of teens.

Adult Variety Class (Room 117/118)

A class for younger single and married adults which meets during the Sunday School hour on Sunday mornings.

Footprints (Choir Room)

The Footprints is an adult class with an age range from 45 to 75. The class does not have a set curriculum, they mostly pick a topic to study, try to find a book about it and read it and discuss what is in each chapter. The class also gets together from time to time outside of church for fellowship.

J.O.Y. Class & Fellowship Corner (Rooms 200D&E)

The theme of the JOY Class is Jesus first, others second, and yourself last. The studies are always Biblically based. Each quarter we have a social event to enjoy fellowship, dining together, and often a musical or some other program.
