Good morning! Today is the day of Salvation. God is coming to us today, initiating a covenant with us, making a promise for us, offering to journeying with us into His amazing future. May you experience a “name-change” today as you accept His promise for you. May you be fruitful and multiply today as you reach out to those around you. And in all things, may you be known as God’s beloved child, sharing His love to all people.
Today’s passage is Genesis 17:1-7, 15-16: God promises Abram and Sarai that they will be parents of many nations, that they will be blessed with many descendants and that kings will come from them. Therefore God changes Abram’s name to Abraham, and Sarai’s name to Sarah – Princess.
