Grace & Peace,

He is still Risen!  He is still Risen indeed!  Jesus’ new creation is still blooming all around us.  May you have the eyes to see the seeds of love spreading all around you, through acts of kindness, forgiveness, justice, and joy.  In today’s passage you will read about John encouraging people to live in community with God and with their church family.  Love lives in this community.  May you share in the fellowship of that love today.

1 John 1:1-2:2: John writes to testify to Jesus and to open the door to fellowship for the believers with one another and with God. However, if we claim to be in fellowship but live in “darkness” – denial and sin – we lie. But, if we confess our sin, and live in the light we do, indeed, have fellowship with God and others.
