Good morning, my brothers and sisters. As we read today, we will be reminded of our true identity – beloved children of God. Maybe you need to be reminded of that today, I know I do. We are not what the world tells us we are. We are not even what our minds say we are. We are God’s beloved children. We are loved, accepted, forgiven, and called. Today may we live into that identity by loving those around us.
1 John 3:1-7: Because of God’s love, we are God’s children, and we have hope that when we see Christ we will be like him. Therefore, we resist sin and seek to live in righteousness as Jesus is righteous.
