Grace & Peace,

Happy Wednesday!

Acts 10:44-48: As Peter preaches to the Gentile believers in Cornelius’ house, the Holy Spirit comes on them and they begin to speak with other tongues. Peter then baptizes them confirming that God’s salvation is for the Gentiles as well as for the Jews.

Today’s passage has to do with walls coming down.  Just like last week, the boundary markers between who is in and who is out is blurring.  Today, a roman Centurion named Cornelius finds Christ.  Should I baptize him?  Just like the Ethiopian Eunuch was baptized into the family of God, so is Cornelius and his household.  The Kingdom is expanding, blooming, flourishing.

So what does this mean for us today?  Who is God leading you to talk to about what Jesus has done?  What outsider needs to be included?  Love continues to knock down walls.

What did your Rabbi Jesus teach you today?
