Serve Week details:

• Monday, April 19 – Beloved Foster Care Ministry opportunity as part of “Serve Week” – Sandy Hook Volunteers will be helping the Beloved Ministry assemble baby toiletry bags beginning at 6:30 pm at New Hope Christian Church Gym. The church is located at 1404 400N (off 31 North out of town). Sandy Hook UMC has committed to be a part of this event. • Tuesday, April 20 – Malachi’s Closet Clothing Ministry volunteer opportunity as part of “Serve Week” – we will be working with Malachi’s Closet on Tuesday, April 20 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. If you would like to volunteer with the Sandy Hook crew, please call the office and put your name on the volunteer list or click here to register.. Volunteers will need to arrive at 1420 Sycamore Street about 10 minutes early and masks will be required.
• Wednesday, April 21 – Gleaner’s Food Bank volunteer opportunity as part of “Serve Week” – Gleaner’s Food Bank is hosting a “Mobile Food Pantry” event at Columbus Airport on Wednesday, April 21 from 4 – 6 pm. Sandy Hook UMC has committed to be a part of this event. If you would like to volunteer with the Sandy Hook crew, please call the office and put your name on the volunteer list or click here to register.. Volunteers will need to arrive at the airport area around 3:30 pm and masks will be required. We will be moving and lifting the food boxes and placing in people’s vehicles.
• Thursday, April 22 – Mosaic Ministry SHUMC will be providing them dinner as part of “Serve Week” – Fran Kissel and her fellowship team will be looking for volunteers to help cook and serve the dinner to the Mosaic Ministry. This ministry is at First Christian Church at 531 5^th Dinner will take place at 6:00pm. Please let Fran Kissel know if you are interested in helping or click here to register.
• Sunday, April 25 – Prayer Awakening – praying for Columbus, Indiana. – Join us as we pray for our city during both of our morning worship services: 8:45 am Traditional Service & 11 am Contemporary Service.
• Sunday, April 25 – Prayer Walk – praying over our City.  More info coming soon!
